Color Palette 006

A couple of weeks ago, the girls and I took a trip to the local aquarium with a friend and her daughter. The aquarium is such an incredible place full of color, inspiring textures, organic patterns, and interesting animals that aren’t a part of my daily life. I instantly planned to return without anyone else, sketching materials in hand. For now though, the next three weeks will have color palettes drawn directly from this aquarium trip!

The absolute vibrancy of this snake is so striking to me! The pattern along it’s side adds even another layer of interest. I could have watched this snake far longer than the kids in my group!
